Recent Forays
In recent weeks and months, we’ve added a few new images to our varied collection:
Late last year I visited Akaroa on Banks Peninsula for the day, and ended up taking a number of nice photos around the Northern side of the Akaroa Harbour headlands. A couple have found their way onto our FB page previously.
We also took my Danish nephew down the West Coast of the South Island for a few days. We stopped in at such places as Punakaiki, Hokitika, Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers, Haast, Haast Pass, Wanaka, and Aoraki-Mt Cook before heading on home to Christchurch. Needless to say we filled a few memory cards! As above, some of these also now grace our FB page. Oh my goodness! That last leg up to Aoraki-Mt Cook was epic! We ended up having to buy a new car, but that’s a story for another day. (No, we didn’t crash!)
Then most recently, we spent a few days in Oamaru, Dunedin, and Timaru, and also stopped briefly at the Moeraki Boulders, and Shag Bay, both between Palmerston and Oamaru.
I also managed a brief foray around Lyttelton Harbour, past Diamond Harbour, to Camp Bay. More Photos! Some of them I’m hoping will be forthcoming over the next few days as I get time!
