We’ve recently added some new photos to our Sunset-Sunrise, Architecture, Otago, Canterbury, and People & places Galleries. And, a brand new Gallery just for our users, “Abstract”. This gallery will contain some of the best of our “random” stuff that doesn’t really fit on our mainstream galleries. Currently, there are just two photos in there: both plays on light, and lighting effects/tricks.

We also had a play with adding Japanese language to our site for our supporters in Japan. Unfortunately it didn’t come off quite as well as expected. I guess it comes down to the old adage: Don’t let a man do a woman’s work! My wife, yes, she is Japanese! was horrified at my efforts, so I deleted all the Japanese stuff – with a bit of bribery she might re-write that side of it for me in a manner that actually makes sense!

Finally, one of my favourite photography related websites, which features a downloadable E-zine, F11 Magazine, is closing down. I want to say a big THANK YOU! to the team for all their mags over the last few years. I’m disappointed to see them go, but I can respect their reasoning. All the best for your future ventures.
